The 2003 Rugby World Cup was the 5th Rugby World Cup to be held. It was held in Australia. There were 20 teams participating, with Georgia being at the tournament for the first time. Eight teams qualified by virtue of making the quarter-finals at the 1999 RWC, with the other 12 teams going through regional qualifying tournaments to get to the finals. |
